A Cincinnati educational tech startup has teachers running the Appalachian Trail and rowing across an ocean to create lessons for their students.

Abre, which gives applications and tools to schools, parents, teachers and administrators, is piloting a program called “Abre Everywhere” that supports teachers in undergoing endeavors in fields they’re passionate about and then turning those into curricula and lesson plans that can not only be shared with their own students but with students all over the country on Abre’s platform.
